Meet Andile Tetani
Andile Tetani is an East London-based artist born in 1999, working across drawing, painting, printmaking, ceramics and sculpture.
His work has been recognised at local venues including Ann Bryant Gallery and the Mkhanda Arts Festival and he has participated in workshops and exhibitions such as Echo of Affirmation. Currently completing his third year at Walter Sisulu University, Andile is also part of Phr(i)ends with Psychedelics (PWP), creating live paintings and drawings influenced by music and performance.
His practice explores art as a powerful form of communication, using mixed media to express perspectives, narratives and everday experiences, often drawing inspiration from fashion, music and pop culture.
